Hardware Integration Technician

We are looking for a Hardware Integration Technician to join our IVT team.

As an IVT member, you will focus on installing, configuring, testing, and debugging storage systems during the manufacturing process to ensure the high quality of the INFINIDAT products.

Requirements:

Technical sense and affection for hardware.
Experience with HW integration QA, PC, and server technician, or any similar position - an advantage
Knowledge of reading logs (LINUX CLI environment) and providing the right Rejection Criteria. - mandatory
Knowledge of Linux filesystem and commands (pull out logs, filter them, create new files, etc.) – mandatory.
Basic knowledge of IP networks
Familiarity with hardware components such as servers, network cards, storage drives, etc.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Technology-oriented with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player
Strong communication skills in English
An autodidact and fast learning skills
Available to work in shifts (US Eastern time zone) and during weekends when needed

Preferred Skills:

Experience in similar roles - an advantage
Proven analysis and debug capabilities - an advantage
Linux Certification - an advantage
Experience with execution, debugging and writing Python/Bash scripts - an advantage

Responsibilities:

Execute system, hardware, functional, and performance testing via an automated testing suite.
Investigate and analyze HW and infrastructure issues to identify the root cause of technical issues.
Report and handle technical issues found during the environment setup, system installation, and integration testing.
Run diagnostic tools to debug technical issues.
Work closely with other teams at Infinidat and subcontractor technicians.
