Your role

Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future banking technology? Do you have proven ability to design, develop and deploy complex platforms and applications?

We’re looking for an IT technical engineer to:

• Implement software aligned to business and IT requirements, transforming business problems into technical solutions
• Work with other technical disciplines to harmonize requirements, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose
• Implement solutions to successful delivery
• make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
• collaborate on problem analysis, proof-of-concepts, pilots, MVP design, quality and control and drive these solutions forward to completion
• partner with teams across the firm to enable and drive deployment of Log Management capabilities
• providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages

Your team

You’ll be working in the Enterprise Log Management team based in our Israel location. Our team makes sure that as a business we get the most out of our technology investment by collaborating with colleagues, delivering on projects and outlining the technical roadmap using our combined knowledge. As a Technical Architect, you’ll play an important role in making sure we achieve both business and technology objectives.

Your expertise

• ideally worked as an IT engineer for a number of years within the finance sector
• proven delivery of Log Management solutions – primarily in Splunk and Cribl, including (but not limited to) data onboarding, dashboarding & reporting, implementing and understanding large scale clustered implementations
• understanding of how Log Management solutions fit into the bigger application picture whilst remaining compliant with firm policies
• successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
• thorough understanding of Scrum framework
• knowledge of languages and technologies, such as Python, Ruby, Puppet and Bash Scripting
