Principal PM Manager - Microsoft Threat Protection

Responsibilities

• Drive product areas end-to-end including building vision and strategy, defining roadmap and drive execution for successful results.

• Lead, nurture and grow team of product managers – driving clear objectives, meaning, area of ownership and career development for each team member; drive strategic and tactical synergies between areas and between team members. • Analyze customer and market signals to identify customers’ unmet or unknown needs. Work closely and build trust with customers to help direct product roadmap and improve customer experience.

• Define features and own their backlog. Work with research, engineering, and design teams to align on tradeoffs and ROI, and partners with Product Marketing on the disclosure of the roadmap and outbound communication.

• Work closely with an engineering manager to ensure a focused and effective execution of your backlog and to identify quick-wins and agile responses to customer needs.

• Collaborate with other Microsoft product teams for integration on key scenarios by identifying potential value and lead the delivery of joint experiences.

• Drive business impact across the organization, define and track success criteria and KPIs. Be data driven with ongoing analysis of usage data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional product management roles

• 3+ years of experience in PM team mgmt

• Experience with product strategy analysis, product/market fit, compete analysis

• Experience with early stage incubations (preffered) or startups, leading products from early stages of customer profile and user persona mapping, problem and requirements discovery and validation, defining vision and north star, creating roadmaps starting from MVP, iteratively enhance the product.

• Experience in leading large product initiatives and programs across multiple disciplines such as marketing, sales, customer success, engineering, research, design, etc.

• Experience in large scale enterprise software, serving and interacting with large customers and service providers, internationally, across sectors (Financial Services, Enterprise, Technology, Telco, Gov, Critical Infrastructure, etc.)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering, or equivalent experience

• Background in Security, Cloud or SaaS. Familiarity with the Microsoft security stack preferred.

• Passionate customer advocate and experience engaging with customers

• Strong problem-solving skills and a hunger for impact • Data driven and curious individual with a passion for ongoing learning, experimenting, and improving.

• Great collaboration and communication skills and ability to engage customers, key org stakeholders and team members.
