In your role as a Senior Data Engineer, you will manage large volumes of data and contribute to critical projects such as the single source of truth, Data Catalog, and Data Platform. Join our team at Viber and help us enhance our data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities
Lead the designing, building, and maintaining of the organization’s data architecture
Contribute to initiatives such as the implementation of a single source of truth, Data Catalog, and Data Platform
Manage large volumes of data, including real-time streaming of petabytes of data from hundreds of millions of users
Collaborate with different teams to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of data solutions
Oversee the overall management of the data platform
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java and TypeScript
Experience maintaining and monitoring production systems for mid-sized companies
Proficiency in Big Data technologies, particularly Apache Spark
Proven experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS
Previous experience collaborating within teams of at least 3 members

Advantages
Experience with large streaming solutions – At least TBs daily
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent military courses
Experience working in an Agile environment
Strong data analytics skills, including proficiency in SQL and Python
