Employment Legal Counsel

SodaStream, a leading international industrial company, is looking for an experienced and talented lawyer to join our legal department, reporting to the department’s head of Global Employment, Litigation, and IP. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various global legal matters with a focus on employment and litigation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external law firms to provide comprehensive legal support to the company. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Your role will include working in two different locations: HQ offices located in Kfar Saba and SodaStream’s plant located near Lehavim.

Key responsibilities:

Provide strategic legal advice to the HR team on employment issues and best practices, including policies, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and terminations

Draft and maintain employment-related documents in Israel and abroad, including separation agreements, non-competition, confidentiality, consulting agreements, manpower, and service providers according to provisions of Enhanced Enforcement of the Labor Law

Handle employment disputes, litigation pre-litigation matters

Contribute to creating employment law-related training programs

Assist in global litigation matters and coordination with external counsel

Requirements:

Must have qualifications:

License to practice law in Israel

5 years of experience managing employment law matters, including litigation, at a large law firm, boutique employment law firm, or global corporation (both law firm and in-house experience are advantageous)

Strong legal writing and verbal skills in both English and Hebrew

Excellent communication and legal drafting skills
