Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage a team of full-stack developers, guiding them through technical and business challenges while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and skill development plans.
Help define and implement best practices for software engineering, ensuring that the team adheres to high quality, maintainability, and scalability standards.
Technical Ownership & Development:
Lead the design and development of key features for the platform, particularly in areas like product configuration, merchandising rules, and A/B testing systems.
Take ownership of the platform’s technical architecture and make key decisions related to scalability, performance, and security.
Develop new features end-to-end, from architecture to production.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Collaboration with Other Teams:
Work closely with the Product manager and the business teams to understand the business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Coordinate with the DevOps and other R&D teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of the platform.

Required Skills & Experience:

Full-Stack Development Expertise:
Proven experience building and deploying web applications (front-end and back-end).
3+ years of working with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React/Redux, Node.js, Typescript
Deep knowledge of software architecture design and REST API
Experience with Databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch
Deep understanding of software architecture design and REST API
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and other modern DevOps practices.
Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical designs for new features, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with business goals.
Leadership & Communication:
Prior experience managing or leading technical teams in an agile environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
Strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility for the success of the platform and the team, driving projects from inception to completion with a focus on high-quality deliverables.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and find innovative solutions while balancing short-term and long-term goals.
