About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Development Team Lead to join us at an exciting stage of growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves building products end to end, leading by example, and helping a strong team do its best work. You will combine technical execution with people leadership, working closely with engineers, product, and design to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor an engineering team, supporting both professional growth and day-to-day execution
Stay hands-on in the code and actively contribute to the design, development, and delivery of core product features
Drive end-to-end development across frontend and backend systems
Partner closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to translate business and user needs into scalable solutions
Help define technical direction, architecture, engineering standards, and development best practices
Improve team processes, execution, and delivery quality as the company scales
Foster a strong engineering culture built on ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
Provide professional and personal mentorship to team members, supporting their growth, development, and success
Play a key role in shaping both the product and the engineering organization in a small, growing company

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of software development experience, with strong full-stack development capabilities
2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
Proven experience as a hands-on team lead who combines technical depth with strong people leadership
Experience building and shipping production-grade web applications
Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and engineering best practices
Familiarity with AI technologies, cloud environments, and regulated frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, startup environment with changing priorities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A pragmatic, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership

Nice to Have

Experience in digital health, healthtech, or other regulated environments
Experience working in small, early-stage, or high-growth startups
Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and scalable systems
