Senior React Native Engineer

As a Senior React Native Engineer at Nagish, you will play a key role in shaping the mobile experience for users who are Deaf or hard of hearing. You’ll be building performant, accessible, and delightful mobile applications that users rely on every day.

This role is ideal for an experienced mobile engineer with strong product understanding, who cares deeply about users, performance, and design. It’s not just about coding - it’s about creating mobile experiences that have real impact for users.

What you’ll do

Design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile features in React Native (and native modules as needed)
Take ownership of features from concept and design through development, testing, deployment, and iteration
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to define flows, UX, and technical solutions
Solve complex mobile challenges: performance optimization, accessibility, real-time data, offline handling
Ensure the mobile app is scalable, maintainable, and performant for a growing user base
Contribute to mobile architecture, developer experience, and frontend best practices
Present ideas, propose improvements, and influence product and technical direction

Requirements:

5+ years of experience developing mobile applications (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C)
Deep understanding of mobile performance, accessibility, and scalability
Strong product mindset - translating user needs into intuitive, usable mobile experiences
Passion for engineering, solving hard problems, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and mentor peers

Nice to have

Experience building cross-platform mobile apps at scale
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, inclusive design)
Experience with real-time communication or data-heavy mobile features
Interest in AI-driven mobile experiences
