You will:

Set, drive and execute the product strategy of Papaya Global’s leading Platform to enable complex data workflows and pipelines that move and process data at scale
Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive mission driven team of product managers and product leaders
Lead a team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers
Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals
Identifying strategic areas of new investment and generating budget models for product expansion
Work closely with other teams at Papaya Global to ensure efficient and productive working relationships
Understand the market, and competition, and champion our users to craft product strategies that will lead to long-term success
Lead by example. Be incredibly truth-seeking and finger-tippy with data, set a high bar for the team to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans, move fast and be biased toward action

Requirements:

12+ years of experience in Product Management, working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
8+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior product leaders
8+ years experience leading teams and driving strategy at SaaS/PaaS business
A high bar across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on
You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on
Deep prior experience in building platforms - implementing API/services layer and deconstructing data monoliths
Experience with system telemetry, logging, and measurement
You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analysis and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field. Technical understanding must go from the highest abstractions down to the hardware

Nice to have:

Experience building 1-N products, platform/ecosystem products
Background in engineering, data and analytics preferred, with experience shipping production internal and external platforms
Love for team-building and eagerness for sleeves-up design and architecture collaboration with engineering
