Job Description:

Overall Purpose:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery processes and robust production support. Emphasis is placed on automation, innovation, and adherence to industry best practices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Design, Development, and Coding: Architect, design, and implement software applications using a variety of programming languages and modern development methodologies. Senior Software Engineers are expected to be hands-on in both designing and coding.
Collaboration and Communication: Gather and analyze software requirements, provide accurate estimates, prepare detailed design specifications, and collaborate with engineers and architects to evaluate and validate system integrations.
Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute automated test plans, validate test environments and datasets, design and implement code fixes, and generate comprehensive reports.
Maintenance and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues to ensure continuous, reliable performance.
Deployment: Lead and support the end-to-end software deployment process, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production.

Job Contribution:
An experienced professional with in-depth knowledge, applying organizational best practices to resolve moderately complex problems. Works independently on expansive projects with minimal supervision, implementing policy changes to improve organizational functions. Decisions and actions directly impact efficiency, costs, schedules, and client relationships. Interacts primarily within the department and with senior leadership across multiple teams.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required. Certifications may be required for certain specialties.
