Technology Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and plan the overall technological architecture and the technological roadmap of the company based on the current and future business needs and characteristics
Scout, prioritize and foster end-to-end technological solutions that support the business on an ongoing basis
Develop and execute long-term technological strategies in line with the organization’s objectives.
Identify and implement cutting-edge technology solutions, staying ahead of industry trends.
Lead and manage the execution of technological projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business requirements.
Oversee and manage project budgets, collaborating with vendors and service providers to optimize costs.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with senior executives (CIO, CISO, COO, and CEO) to drive technology initiatives that improve efficiency.
Design and implement cybersecurity solutions that adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Manage IT procurement processes, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and local regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in a CTO role or technological architecture, with in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies.
Strong background in managing technology projects, from concept to deployment.
Proven ability to work with regulators and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Experience in driving technological innovation and managing organizational change.
Experience in a technological transformation of a traditional company – an advantage, a company in the financial services /insurance industry – a big advantage
Procurement experience and negotiation skills with technology vendors are – an advantage.

Technical Expertise:

Ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient technology infrastructures that align with the company's strategic goals.
Proficient in managing large-scale projects using tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms for planning, tracking, and execution.
Expertise in implementing and managing cybersecurity frameworks, including EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), CheckPoint firewalls, FortiGate, F5, and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) solutions.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), including cloud migration, management, and cost optimization.
In-depth knowledge of VMware for virtualization, along with experience in managing networking, storage, and backup solutions, and disaster recovery processes.
Expertise in working with enterprise-level database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
Familiarity with local and international technology regulations, ensuring adherence to GDPR, ISO standards, Bank of Israel regulation and industry-specific requirements.

Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proactive and innovative, with the ability to drive technological change.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
