We are looking for a Thermal Analysis Engineer to join the ISTAR & EW Division, located in Rehovot, IsraelOur team specializes in the development of advanced electro-optical systems, requiring precise thermal contro and analysis to ensure optimal performance in challenging operational environments
Responsibilities
Perform thermal analyses using Finite Element (F.E.) software for opto-mechanical systems
Design thermal management and cooling systems
Develop and implement temperature stabilization solutions
Conduct thermal experiments and validate simulation results
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, or Thermodynamics
M.Sc. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, or Fluid Flow – preferred
3–4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in defense companies
Strong analytical skills and the ability to distinguish between critical and non-critical issues
High efficiency, persistence, and dedication
Excellent multitasking and teamwork capabilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in F.E. software tools is an advantage
