Practical Electronics Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Practical Electronics Engineer to join our team!

The POD Engineer is responsible for performing hands-on verification tests of newly developed electronic hardware, including electrical, environmental, and mechanical tests, to ensure product reliability and compliance with standards.

Perform hands-on verification testing of newly developed electronic hardware (electrical, thermal, environmental, vibration)
Define and set up test jigs, cable kits, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs)
Collaborate with hardware design engineers during development and validation phases
Approve product readiness based on successful test results
Perform basic soldering and wiring for testing purposes
Create and maintain clear, well-organized test documentation in English
Interpret technical drawings and develop corresponding test plans
Support continuous improvement of testing tools and methodologies
Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Practical Engineer diploma in Electronics
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing
Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, environmental chambers)
Experience with test jigs, fixtures, and cable assemblies
Basic knowledge of OrCAD or similar schematic software
Understanding of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)
Familiarity with analog and digital electronic components (experience is a significant advantage)
Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of testing processes
Prior experience in development or quality assurance environments preferred
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and maintaining test documentation
High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English
Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow professionally
