*Job Summary:*

As a Data Engineer at MeteorOps, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture that supports our business operations. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to ensure that our data pipelines are reliable, scalable, and optimized for performance. The ideal candidate is proficient in data integration, ETL processes, and has a strong background in working with big data technologies.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration from various sources.
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
* Build and optimize data storage solutions, including data lakes, warehouses, and databases, ensuring data is easily accessible and well-organized.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
* Implement data quality measures, including validation and cleansing procedures, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
* Develop and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and analytics.
* Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, big data, and cloud platforms.

*Required Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
* Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
* Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
* Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience with Palantir Foundry or other Palantir products is a significant bonus.
* Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering.
* Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and model deployment.
