What You'll Do:

Lead and mentor a team of senior software engineers: lead code reviews, providing technical guidance, help maintain a high level of code and support to achieve exceptional results
Play a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient distributed architecture
Be a hands-on leader: develop complex and efficient client-based agents and on-prem components, including highly secured client-to-server communication
Implement and optimize networking-based solutions, including advanced proxy communication capabilities
Address challenges related to deployment, remote-control and monitoring of client and on-premises components
Collaborate with stakeholders (product, CS, sales etc.), initiate and drive development processes, manage complex features and projects and make significant impact on our customers by generating high quality deliverables on a timely manner
Attract and retain top talents, work closely with the team to maintain high engagement and motivation

Requirements:

What You’ll bring with you:

2+ years of engineering managerial experience
6+ years of development experience
Proven experience in designing and developing backend micro-services in Node.js / Python / Rust / C++, preferably in high-scale.
Experience designing and implementing large-scale apps in production
Hands-on experience with various communication protocols such as web sockets / proxies
Ability to navigate and resolve complex technical challenges, demonstrating autonomy, top-notch design, and high-quality execution
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure
Familiarity with React and modern front-end frameworks
A demonstrated ability to deliver results according to plan
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to details and a team-oriented mindset
Highly motivated and self-learner
B.Sc. Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent knowledge

Nice to have but not a must:

A cyber-related knowledge from the industry or from a relevant military unit
A start-up working experience, preferably in early stages
Experience with developing self-contained and containerized applications using Kubernetes
Browser extension development experience
Electron framework development experience
