KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Within our matrix organization you will be part of the Process Development Unit

Within your role you will:

Perform development in order to up-scale, up-grade or improve the yield of existing products. The Development will be applied both on the up-stream and the downstream parts of the product process.
In case of failure in production, perform analysis in order to find the root cause of failure. If required perform the suggested changes in order to overcome the failure and produce within spec product.
In case of lower-than-expected yield in production, perform analysis in order to find the root cause. If required perform the suggested changes in order to increase back the yield.
Perform a hands-on work.
Perform troubleshooting.
Perform in process analytical assays.
Write, update, approve and Sign production protocol and SOP’s.
Work closely with Production, QC, QA, Logistics and Supply chain departments

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/LANGUAGES
BSc/ MSc or PhD in Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or relevant educational field
High written skills in Hebrew and English

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Industrial experience in microbiology, including work with fungal, yeast and bacteria– advantage
Analytical/preparative skills in chromatography
Ability to implement new technologies - advantage
Ability to perform process improvement - advantage

Good interpersonal and communicational skills

High ability to learn production processes and techniques.
