About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C++ Development Team Lead to head our dynamic team of SDK developers. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in C++ and proven leadership experience.

What you'll do

Lead and manage a team of C++ developers (including offshore engineers), fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of an SDK used by game engines, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards are met.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and career growth.
Take a hands-on role in debugging, tracing, and optimizing performance to deliver a robust and efficient SDK.
Drive the adoption of test automation strategies, including unit and integration testing, to ensure the reliability and performance of the SDK.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in C++, graphics programming, and related technologies, applying innovative solutions to complex problems.
Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical contributions.

Requirements:

Proven experience leading and managing a team of software developers, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development.
Strong experience in SDK development (experience with Game SDKs is a major advantage).
Deep expertise in debugging, tracing, and performance optimization.
Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks for unit and integration testing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the gaming industry or related fields.
Proficient in graphics programming with a solid understanding of DirectX 11/12, Vulkan, and OpenGL - a big advantage
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the software development community.
Experience with other programming languages and frameworks is a plus.
