As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead projects at Global Contract Manufacturers (CM’s). Your role involves optimizing production lines, integrating cutting-edge technology, ensuring excellence and to support production lines to meet company demand. Manufacturing Engineering team is part of Medtronic Global Operation & Supply Chain (GO&SC) group and the Global Manufacturing Engineering. The Global Contract Manufacturing Engineering teams are responsible for providing technical support of the manufacturing process at our External Manufacturing Partners.

A Day in the Life
• Own manufacturing and product design changes and be responsible for the ECNs from end-to-end.
• Plan, execute and report on project progress.
• Provide on-going Engineering support to the product’s production line.
• Attend at Contract Manufacturing sites.
• Lead and participate in improvement processes (i.e. GEMBA Walks, FTQS) at Contract Manufacturing production lines.
• Participate in technical investigations of process failures or low yield performance issues.
• Collaborate and communicate with a vast network of global stakeholders.
• Participate in GO&SC community activities (i.e. Community Connect session, Medtronic ERGs).

Must Haves
• Mechanical, Bio Medical Engineer
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering environments
• Proven experience in multi-disciplinary products
• PMO certified and experience in leading multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with working in a PDM environment: CAP Agile, Windchill PLM
• Excellent presentations skills
• Excellent human relations and ability to work in cross functions teams.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English

Nice to Haves
• Lean, Green Belt certified
• Experience in Medical Device companies or other highly regulated industries
• Knowledge in root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions
• Experience in Contract Manufacturing (CM) production lines and business environment
• Mold Management (proactive management of equipment)
