DevOps Engineer

MyHeritage is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer who will take an active role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure.

In this position, you will implement crucial DevOps tasks and lead our efforts to drive cost efficiency and financial optimization across our cloud operations.

What you'll do

Implement DevOps tasks and assist team members as part of the team's ongoing development
Identify cost saving opportunities and monitor and analyze cloud costs
Create cost reports and dashboards and promote FinOps culture in the R&D department
Stay updated on AWS cost management tools and best practices
Support and mentor DevOps team members

What you bring

At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps or a similar position — must
Solid understanding of AWS service and its pricing models — must
Experience in automated provisioning, maintaining, and management of cloud resources in AWS
Experience in AWS cost and pricing methodologies
Experience in AWS discount programs
In-depth knowledge of AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor
Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and rightsizing techniques
Familiarity with cloud budgeting, cost allocation and ROI calculation
System administration and troubleshooting experience with Linux in a production environment — advantage
Ability and drive to learn new technologies
Problem-solving and creative thinking
Desire to support and mentor other DevOps team members
