Senior ML Software Engineer for the ML Software Team

We are looking for a talented and motivated Machine Learning Software Engineer to join our ML Software team within the Imaging and Sensing organization. This organization is responsible for developing depth, photography, immersive media and AR/VR solutions for various use cases and devices. In this role, you will lay the foundation for ML model development and research, enabling breakthroughs in our cutting-edge solutions. You will design and develop software systems that support the full ML lifecycle-from data engineering and training to experiment tracking, model evaluation, and deployment readiness. In close collaboration with ML researchers, you will build scalable, robust, and efficient software pipelines and tools that accelerate model development and enhance reproducibility.

Develop software pipelines and tools for ML model training, experiment tracking, benchmarking, inference and evaluation Design and implement frameworks and pipelines for data engineering Optimize training and evaluation pipelines for speed, reliability, and scalability Collaborate daily with ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to understand needs and deliver high-impact solutions

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
7+ years of experience developing in Python
Solid understanding of the ML development and evaluation lifecycle
Experience in full-stack development
Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), or cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
Strong focus on understanding and addressing internal customer needs, with a proven ability to deliver timely and effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with experiment tracking tools (e.g. Weights & Biases, MLFlow)
Experience in building ML solutions for image and video models
