GE Medical Systems, L.L.C. is seeking a skilled and passionate Software Engineer in Test with strong expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our cutting-edge medical software solutions. You will play a crucial role in validating complex systems across various technologies, contributing to the development of robust and innovative healthcare products.

Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand system architecture, functional requirements, and technical designs to create effective test strategies.
• Apply BDD practices (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave) to define clear acceptance criteria and executable specifications that bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Write and maintain high-quality, maintainable test code using Computer Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Participate in the design and review of Software Design Architecture to identify potential quality risks and ensure testability from the outset.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues, including those related to Network Protocols, Databasing, and System Reliability.
• Drive collaboration between QA, developers, and product owners by creating living documentation through BDD scenarios that evolve with the product.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on shifting left and embedding quality early in the lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, JBehave, Behave, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, and/or Python.

• Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into executable test scenarios.
