The Security Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for security products within the organization. They specialize in products that protect digital assets, ensure data privacy, and mitigate security risks. With a strong background in cybersecurity, the Security Product Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver effective security solutions.

What will your job look like?

• Provide strategic direction for core enterprise infrastructure and security-supported technologies, including:
o Data protection (DLP, encryption, etc.)
o Perimeter protection
o SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
o Managed security services
o Cloud services security
• Develop business cases for new features and services.
• Obtain approval for new features and services.
• Manage the delivery of new features, services, and upgrades, including:
o Go-to-market strategies
o Trialing and launches
• Develop and manage the product scorecard to track performance and competitiveness against key KPIs.
• Be the expert in the portfolio’s current technical and operational approaches (systems, tools, processes).
• Navigate new development initiatives through the process to launch.
• Evaluate existing technologies/platforms within the network to understand how they can be leveraged for the organization's benefit.
• Execute the product lifecycle from strategic planning (e.g., gaining buy-in from management) to customer/field requirements gathering.
• Lead ongoing product development strategy, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Collaborate with product development teams on technical specifications and offering creation.
• Design outbound marketing activities, including:
o Identifying customers for case studies
o Creating marketing materials for the sales force
o Educating the sales force
o Handling press contacts in coordination with the PR team

All you need is...

• Strong background in cybersecurity architecture (5+ years)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with one of the major clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience working with a very technical team on developer-facing products (advantage)
• Customer Facing with solid presentation skills
• Knowledge of industry trends and emerging security technologies
