MLOps Team Lead

As an MLOps Team Lead at Gong, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient machine learning infrastructure. You'll work closely with research teams, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to optimize the ML ecosystem, enabling large-scale AI model training, experimentation, and validation. You will guide a team of ML engineers, ensuring the performance and reliability of ML systems while fostering a culture of excellence, growth, and innovation.

As an MLOps Team Lead, you will:

Develop Gong’s machine learning platform, which includes shared libraries, development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and common utilities that enable efficient and consistent ML development processes across our AI/research teams.
Collaborate with research teams to architect machine learning and deep learning infrastructure that supports training, experimentation, and validation of AI models at scale.
Foster in your team a culture of excellence, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork. Guide your team members' technical learning, professional development, and career progression. Uphold high standards for engineering excellence and drive innovation within Gong's AI Platform division.

You should apply if you are:

A technical leader with at least 3 years of experience in developing ML systems and at least 5 years in the industry.
Experienced in building infrastructure, apt to dive deep into code and architecture, capable of defining the team’s roadmap and vision while guiding others to execute it.
A people person, experienced in managing ML infrastructure or MLOps teams, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities.
