Technical & Projects Procurement Buyer

a global industrial company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of food materials is looking for an Technical Buyer to join its Procurement team.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage end-to-end technical and project procurement for industrial facilities, including machinery, production equipment, systems, and technical solutions.
* Support complex engineering and CAPEX projects, including new production lines, plant expansions, and new facility projects.
* Lead RFQs, tenders, commercial negotiations, and supplier selection processes.
* Negotiate and manage contracts, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, insurance, guarantees, and logistics terms.
* Review technical specifications and engineering drawings and work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment between technical requirements and purchased equipment.
* Maintain ongoing relationships with international suppliers and manage procurement processes from sourcing through delivery.

Requirements:
* Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related technical field.
* proven experience in technical, engineering, or project procurement
* Experience working with overseas suppliers and international procurement.
* Experience with import, shipping, and customs processes – a strong advantage.
* Fluent / very good English – required for daily communication and negotiations with international suppliers.
