QA Team Leader

Build, lead, and scale the QA organization of the company. Define test strategy and test plans based on the software development roadmap. Architect and design the automation infrastructure and methodologies to support accurate, efficient, and repeatable software and application deployments and tests. Create detailed, well-structured test plans, and implement automated distributed tests. Create and maintain the traceability of requirements and test cases. Use Test Management tools to create, maintain, track and execute test cases; as well as use the Defect Tracking tools. Prepare reports, provide initial issue analysis, and contribute to bug fixes. Set up and configure necessary test equipment and environments for test execution and automation. Test environments may include simulation or target hardware. Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies. At least 2 years experience in building, scaling and leading a QA team in a startup that included automated and manual testing procedures. At least 5 years of software quality assurance or test automation experience in embedded or automotive systems. Expertise working in a CI/CD environment. Good programming skills in common languages, such as Python, BASH. Strong experience with test automation frameworks and scripting. Solid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools. Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development process. Extensive knowledge in performance tests using tools such as Kibana, ping, iperf, Wireshark, etc. Experience in Linux is a must. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, able to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, a quick-learner and able to work in a very fast-paced work environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coordination skills, and interpersonal skills. Testing experience in the fields of communication systems and video compression is a plus. Past experience in the automotive tech industry is a plus.
