Data Security Analyst

About the team:

We’re looking for a Data Security Analyst to join our Data Science team. The team is part of the security apps organization at Rubrik, tasked with building our suite of security products.

About the role:

As a data security analyst you will play a critical role in defining the logic behind many of our security product’s policies and classification algorithms, based on extensive research of huge datasets. You can also expect to work closely with data scientists on cutting edge ML and AI features for our product line.

What you’ll do:
Analyze large-scale datasets and identify patterns that will be used to implement security policies in our products
Define and improve classification algorithms for detecting sensitive data
Work closely with data scientists on data analysis and exploration for ML and AI features
Collaborate with software engineers to implement features based on your analytical research
Partner with the product team to find new ideas for features based on analysis of product metadata
Experience you'll need:
3+ years of experience as a security data analyst at a cyber security company or relevant military experience
Proficiency in SQL
Excellent proficiency in using Python for data analysis
Experience with common data analytics toolkits, such as Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytic capability to develop insights and recommendations
Strong collaboration skills with a wide variety of stakeholders
Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related field
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Experience collaborating with data scientists on ML projects
