abra R&D is looking for a Senior VxWorks BSP Design Engineer!
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior VxWorks BSP Design Engineer to join our Real-Time Embedded Systems team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in low-level software development, including BSP and driver implementation for VxWorks operating systems, as well as experience with bare-metal platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain BSPs and device drivers for VxWorks 6.x/7.x and VxWorks 653 RTOS.
Develop low-level software solutions for bare-metal embedded systems (no OS).
Integrate software with avionics hardware and real-time systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including hardware, systems, and verification teams.
Debug and resolve complex issues at the hardware-software interface level.
REQUIREMENTS
B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in C programming for real-time embedded systems.
At least 10 years of proven experience in BSP and driver development under VxWorks 6.x/7.x.
Proven experience in BSP and driver development under VxWorks 653.
Proven experience in bare-metal (no OS) BSP development.
Strong understanding of low-level hardware interfaces and real-time constraints.
Knowledge and experience in avionics hardware protocols (e.g., ARINC, MIL-STD) – an advantage.
Fluent English – both verbal and written.
