You have high-level Hebrew and English (both written and spoken) and conversational Hebrew to communicate with both Israelis and international teams.We areThe finance team is responsible of payrollfor the payroll process, budget, Accounts Payable, day-to-day accounting operations and monthly closing process.We are responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and business obligations by planning ahead and enabling the infrastructure needed to support the company’s extensive growth.We value responsibility, initiative and collaboration.You willHave end-to-end ownership over the monthly payroll process, including ongoing maintenance, processing, and regulatory filing (Onboarding, Offboarding and 161 forms)Be responsible for the attendance system and preparation of monthly attendance reports including managing mat leave and milluim processesProcess employee benefitsAct as a point of contact on all payroll matters for employees, with a customer-centric attitudeProvide in-depth salary reporting and analysis to the accounting team as well as work with employees, legal, HR teams and external consultants on salary-related issuesBook all the payroll-related Journal Entries in the accounting booksAct as a point of contact with all the salary related regulatory authorities (Mas Hachnasa, Bituach Leumi)Review and control reimbursement of employees' expensesManage employees’ travel reports on a monthly basisAssist the bookkeeper with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, tax reporting, and financial transactions as neededProvide support with payment processing, credit card reconciliations, monthly account reviews, שמג intercompany transactions when requiredHelp with all bookkeeping aspects of the companyHandle ad hoc assignments and special projects as assignedRequirements:You haveExcellent communication, fluent in both English and Hebrew – MustAt least 3 years of experience as a payroll controller – MustAt least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping – MustCertified bookkeeper (Level 2) – MustCertified payroll controller – MustExcellent communication skills and analytical capabilities – MustExcellent Excel skills – MustTech savvy, Excellent Microsoft suite experience (Word, office, etc.) – MustExperience working with Malam payroll system – an advantageExperience working with Synerion system – an advantageExperience in hi-tech companies – an advantageAbility to work both independently and collaboratively with the team and across functions in a fast-paced environmentWork from the Jerusalem office:Flexible hybrid work mode of 3 days a week in officeJoin us in Jerusalem’s high-tech park in Har Hotzvim, where fresh air and green landscapes surround our Cross River offices, designed for optimal comfort and productivity.
