Procurement Buyer – Machining

Job Description:

Local and global purchasing in a production and development environment, with focus on machined mechanical parts.
Conducting negotiations and closing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost and delivery objectives are met.
Sourcing, qualifying and developing suppliers in Israel and abroad.
Close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Project Management from requirement definition through order closure.
Managing purchase orders, monitoring and expediting until full delivery.
Working with product trees (BOM), pricing parts and assemblies, preparing reports and analysing procurement data.
Initiating and leading cost reduction activities.

Requirements:

Relevant academic degree (Business Administration / Logistics / Industrial Engineering) – advantage.
4years of proven procurement experience in a production / development environment.
Experience working with machining subcontractors (CNC, milling, turning, precision parts).
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
Experience working with ERP systems (PRIORITY – advantage).
High level of English.
