A Day in the Life
Mechanical Engineering student position – be a part of the R&D Robotic team and take part in the design and development of cutting edge robotic surgical platforms. The role involves the design of electro-mechanical components, testing & investigations of mechanisms and requires technical skills, team work and creative problem solving to support the delivery of high quality medical devices to improve patient outcomes and the quality of life for millions of people.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Be a part of a R&D mechanical engineering team that is responsible for developing surgical platforms.
Design, run and document design supporting tests according to company standards.
Support R&D lab activities such as: System maintenance (including 3D printers), troubleshooting and hands on support to engineers.
Write technical documentation – component specifications, test results etc.
Support engineers in design projects.
Support different groups on-site requiring CAD or other assistance.
Technical data analysis, dashboards creation and support data-driven decision making.
Work physically from our offices in Ceasarea.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Student for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with at least 3 semesters remaining.
Availability for at least 2 full working days (at the Caesarea office) during semester. Total of 3-5 workdays during summer break.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills – most of the communication, and all documentation, is written in English, including occasional online meetings with US colleagues.
In-depth experience with Microsoft office tools: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Self learner.
Experience in CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
Highly organized.
Strong initiative.
Team player with ability to work on your own.
Passionate hands on approach.
Relevant employment experience.
