This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional from medical device market to gain greater independence in their work and join truly dedicated global team.In this exciting and challenging position as a Sales and Technical Representative diabetes unit you will be driving the sales and technical support within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Develops and maintains Diabetes business with existing and new customers in line with the Country Sales guidelines in the defined sales territory-(center district)Providing excellent technical support and education to the customers (i.e. health care professionals, patients),Meeting and exceeding financial and non-financial targets in a highly competitive market.Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner, report and device complaints to proper departments within quality assurance within Medtronic.Required Knowledge and Experience:Relevant bachelor's degree.3-year (proven success) experience in the medical (device) or pharmaceutical industry or in a hospital environmentAbility to effectively train and present information and respond to questions from groups of medical professionals, clients, and the publicAbility to understand and execute business goals to achieve territory erformanceAchieving revenue and profit targets within assigned region and product scopeIdentifying and facilitating market development opportunities and encouraging collaborations on specific projectsNegotiating contract and terms, closing deals, contract follow up vs. targets.Participates in customer/society education meetings and conventions.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
