Junior Fullstack Engineer

8fig is looking for a passionate and driven Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team in Tel Aviv, Israel!

As a Junior Fullstack Engineer, you will be developing new tools using innovative low-code platform, while working on our backend across our different domains in increasing-frequency, in correlation to your abilities. Moreover you will get the chance to work on our existing React app, maintain it and take it to the next level. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on full-stack experience and contribute to impactful projects.

Responsibilities

Design and build new low-code front-end applications to meet business needs.
Gradually take ownership of backend Node.js features, contributing to our business and the platform’s scalability and performance.
Maintain and improve existing Frontend React-based application to deliver an exceptional user experience.
Write impactful, clean & efficient code that will drive our business forward.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Continuously learn and implement new technologies to improve development processes.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A strong desire to learn and grow as a Fullstack Engineer.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with React.
Exposure to backend development using Node.js or similar technologies.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
Experience with low-code or no-code platforms.
Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms.
Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
Hands-on experience through internships, personal projects, or academic work.
