Varonis Architecture department oversees overall company architecture, technology stack, technical strategy, innovation and patents across company. If you are an experienced architect or an engineering manager and excited about Cloud technologies, high throughput messaging system (20k+ msg/sec), Big Data analytics (10T+ per customer), Enterprise security, AI & LLM, we invite you to join us.
Responsibilities
The position will report to Varonis's Chief Architect and includes designing, prototyping and escorting Company’s solutions.
You will oversee architecture and design of new major capabilities and platforms integrated into DAC product.
You will lead product maturity for better security, performance and compliance.
This role is 70% hands-off, and 30% hands-on (proof of concepts, evaluation of new technologies).
Requirements
At least 10 years of engineering experience.
Either least 5 years as an Architect in a large company
Or 5 years of management experience leading groups of 10 or more engineers
AWS, Kafka, IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQL RDS, Python expertise
Experience with Graph Databases (Neo4J) – advantage
Knowledge in Security – TLS, PKI, SAML, OIDC, compliance – SOC, FedRamp
