API security Consultant

Description

We are seeking a consultant to join our API systems security team. This role is ideal for candidates eager to enter the world of WEB API SECURITY.

You will collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams, focusing on protecting, monitoring, and addressing security threats in API environments.

Role Responsibilities:

Assist with security testing of API interfaces (REST/GraphQL)
Work with automated testing and monitoring tools
Help write API security procedures and support their implementation within development teams
Support training and raise awareness about API-based systems security

Requirements
Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS protocols and RESTful API principles
Basic understanding of common API threats, such as those described in the OWASP API Security Top 10
Ability to work in a team, willingness to learn and grow in the field of Application Security
