Assistant Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting. The Assistant Controller will report to the Director of Finance.

This position is a hands-on position, interacting and coordinating with colleagues in various operational departments to ensure proper accounting treatment, execution of accounting functions, and reporting of results.

Requirements:

CPA with 2-3 years of professional experience - Must.
Licensed CPA - Must.
Internship in one of the Big 4 - Must.
Deep knowledge of US GAAP - Must.
Experience with the NetSuite ERP system - an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to demonstrate the ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects while meeting goals and deadlines.
Proficient with Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Team-oriented and have the confidence in dealing with people at all levels within the organization.

What am I going to do?:

Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Ensure SOX compliance, internal policies, and external regulatory requirements..
Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Work closely with the controller's team and the Director of Finance on various special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
Assist with the implementation of automated tools, accounting systems, and process improvements.
Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and other departments to ensure alignment across reporting and compliance.
