Tendering Executive

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Tendering Executive (construction / MEP) for our client. This role will have a pivotal role in ensuring the coordination of all aspects concerning the tendering process.
Main responsibilities:

To review tender specifications, bill of quantities, and design drawings of mechanical-related projects;
Prepare comprehensive tender submissions within specified deadlines.
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms where appropriate.

Skills, Qualifications & Attributes:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
Past experience in tendering, estimating, quantity surveying, or commercial roles within the construction or MEP industry.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience with quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
Must have experience with AutoCAD, Word & Excel Software.
Experience working with contractors in Malta or Europe is considered an asset.
Familiarity with public sector tendering processes in Malta.
