DevOps Team Lead

XM Cyber is the leader in hybrid-cloud security posture management, using the attacker’s perspective to find and remediate critical attack paths across on-premises and multi-cloud networks.

We're looking for a DevOps Team Lead.

You will be responsible for leading a small team of DevOps engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions using IAC tools. This role requires expertise in Terraform/Pulumi, AWS/GCP microservices architectures, and proficiency in Python for automation tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in team leadership, setting up CICD pipelines, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 2-3 DevOps engineers.
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure solutions using IAC tools on our cloud environments.
Lead and develop automation scripts and tools in Python to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub actions/ArgoCD.
Scalability and quality focus: Proven ability to architect and scale infrastructure to meet increasing demands. Independent and proactive approach to handling tasks, with a strong drive to lead the team to new heights.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly to ensure seamless operations.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

5 years of overall experience as a DevOps Engineer.
2 years of experience in team leadership.
Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and AWS/GCP microservices architectures.
Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, and serverless cloud solutions.
Proficiency in Helm for package management.
Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
Experience setting up and managing CICD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub actions, and ArgoCD.
Experience leading DevOps teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, ensuring clear communication across teams.
