Responsibilities:

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages people who lead cross-functional teams, that are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers.

Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. Assigns and monitors work of project/program management staff, providing technical support and direction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position will manage execution of projects for development of Next generation X-Ray SEMI products targeted for specific applications.

Typical tasks will include:

Project Management -

Plan project execution.
Assemble cross-functional project teams
Define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), tasks, and assemble schedule.
Assign tasks to appropriate resources.
Authorize and monitor execution of tasks and quality of work product (including final product.)
Communicate project status and issues/roadblocks to appropriate managers and executive management.
Management of outsourced major components (sub-Project Management.)

System Engineering-

Define work package functional and performance requirements from Product requirements.

Engineering Design –

Draft user documentation (Facilities and installation requirements.)
Draft production documentation (test and calibration procedures.)

Customer Communication –

Communicate project status and issues/roadblocks to affecting customer to marketing Project Manager (MPM) and support MPM in communication of technical issues and potential solutions to customer

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support customer specials as time available.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Master's degree (minimum) and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with a variety of Project Management concepts, practices, and procedures.
Project Plan, WBS, Scheduling, Responsibility Assignment Matrix, and Status Reporting using Microsoft Power Point.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Strong technical background (Physics), Ph.D. or Master.
Experience in Semiconductors or associate technologies - Nova, KLA, Applied,
Record in Industry as project leader/manager (>10years)
Fluent in Hebrew and English,
