About the role :

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of goods and services for Liquidity. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing function, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions, and contributing to the company's overall operational efficiency. You will work closely with internal teams, including finance, operations, and vendors, to ensure that procurement processes align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities :

Lead the procurement function, overseeing the acquisition of materials, goods, and services to meet operational needs while optimizing cost and quality.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards.
Monitor and analyze procurement costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement purchasing strategies to optimize budget management.
Collaborate with operations and inventory teams to ensure appropriate stock levels and prevent supply chain disruptions.
Continuously review and enhance procurement processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with Liquidity's overall strategic goals.
Ensure contracts with suppliers are in place, monitored, and adhered to, safeguarding the company's interests and mitigating risk.
Stay informed about market trends and new suppliers to ensure that Liquidity is always leveraging the best options available.
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with legal and internal standards, and provide regular reporting on procurement activities, including savings, supplier performance, and risks.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally in tech companies.
Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost-saving initiatives.
Experience in managing procurement for a growing, dynamic company is preferred.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficient in procurement software, Excel, and other relevant tools.
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
