Software Engineer II, Machine Learning, Search

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in backend coding languages such as GOLang, Rust, or Java.
• Familiarity with developing and fine-tuning (Large Language Models) LLMs.
• Familiarity with production systems or services (e.g., Maintaining high-queries per second (QPS), high-availability, low-latency services).

Responsibilities

• Develop classifiers to enforce trust policies for different search products.
• Support Trust and Safety teams for removal and evaluation of trust violations.
• Work with close teams (e.g., fringe, safe search) on integration within scuti services.
• Maintain queries per second (QPS), availability, low-latency production service.
