Mechanical Engineer – Test Stations Development

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Engineering Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical test stations for both board-level and system-level testing. Your focus will be on functional simplicity, reliability, and repeatability, ensuring that test stations are ergonomic and user-friendly for technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical test stations for hardware validation and production testing.

Ensure reliable and repeatable test station performance to maintain consistent test results.

Focus on ergonomic and user-friendly designs to improve technician workflow and ease of use.

Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure smooth integration of test setups.

Select appropriate materials and mechanical components to enhance durability and maintainability.

Support the assembly, validation, and troubleshooting of test stations in a production environment.

Document design specifications, assembly instructions, and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

Required

3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, of test fixtures or automated test stations.
Proficiency in 3D CAD design software.
Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with designing for reliability, repeatability, and ease of maintenance.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and production engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of pneumatic and electromechanical systems for automated test stations.
Experience with rapid prototyping and manufacturing techniques.
Familiarity with test automation concepts and integration with software-driven systems.
