Advisory Systems Engineer

The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a Systems Engineer (SE) to join our growing team in Israel, based in Tel Aviv. This role is a key addition to the local team, designed to bring complementary technical expertise while supporting Nutanix’s continued growth in the Israel market. As a pre-sales technical professional, you will work closely with sales teams and customers to position and design modern hybrid cloud and cloud-native solutions.

You will join a collaborative and adaptable Systems Engineering team that values technical excellence, trust, and continuous learning. The team supports a broad range of customers across the Israel market and works closely with sales, partners, and customers to enable successful digital transformation initiatives.

Your Role

- Act as a trusted technical advisor in pre-sales engagements, supporting account teams across the Israel market.

- Design and present Nutanix solutions, including hybrid cloud architectures and cloud-native capabilities.

- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and align Nutanix solutions to their business and technical needs.

- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.

- Work with internal teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to provide feedback from the field and support customer success.

- Support opportunities across multiple industries; experience with government or defense customers is a plus but not mandatory.

What You Will Bring

- At least 3 years of experience in a pre-sales Systems Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.

- Solid understanding of hybrid cloud or cloud infrastructure solutions.

- Cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes knowledge are a plus, but not mandatory.

- Experience with public cloud platforms is advantageous.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience working with government or defense customers and security clearance is desirable but not mandatory.

- Fluent Hebrew and English (both required).

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
