VP R&D

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Define and implement the engineering strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives and product roadmap.

- Coach and grow engineering leaders by offering guidance and support to help them reach their professional objectives.

- Keep top management and senior external stakeholders informed about the company’s technical capabilities and future direction.

- Recruiting employees on a large scale for the R&D department.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex, distributed systems.

- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, and best practices in software development.

- Experience with additional cloud platforms

- Proactive approach, initiative and patience while working under pressure

- Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

- Proficient in acquiring new technologies

- Experienced in employee recruitment
