We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead our company through a transformative expansion into a multi-product enterprise serving multi-channel end-to-end supply chain - distributors, retailers and end consumers.
The Global COO will be crucial in scaling and optimizing our global operations with a particular focus on advanced S&OP processes and strategic inventory management based on Industry 4.0 implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to transform our operational model, supporting the company's expansion into multiple and flexible product lines and multi-channel operation, including direct-to-consumer channels.
Develop and implement advanced operational processes and methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0/5.0.
Enhance the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across the organization, ensuring optimal alignment between demand forecasting, production planning, products phase-in and phase-out and optimize inventory management.
Implement sophisticated inventory optimization strategies to balance Just-in-Time (JIT) production efficiencies with strategic finished goods inventory holdings to maximize financial performance and customer service levels.
Oversee and optimize global manufacturing operations, including our main production sites and international subsidiaries.
Establish and optimize new end-to-end supply chain networks for sourced products while maintaining excellence in our manufactured goods.
Maintain high quality standards across end-to-end supply chain, including operations, manufacturing, delivery, products and regions.
Design and implement scalable processes to support both B2B and B2C distribution channels.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including R&D, suppliers, logistics partners, service providers and retailers.
Ensure operational compliance with international regulations.
Reports directly to the CEO and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
15+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role in international organizations.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex, global supply chains and manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated expertise in S&OP processes and inventory optimization strategies.
Strong financial acumen with experience in balancing operational costs against service levels and working capital requirements.
Experience in both B2B and B2C operational models.
Strong background in scaling operations and managing organizational change.
Knowledge in Industry 4.0 and 5.0 processes and experience in their implementation.
Knowledge and understanding in Lean Six Sigma, Value stream mapping.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse, international teams.
Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their application in operational excellence.
