Illustrator Parental Leave

We’re looking for an experienced Illustrator & Motion designer who lives and breathes design and creativity for a six-month parental leave replacement.

Join our design team and add delight to our product with your captivating illustrations and animations. In this role, you'll work closely with our product design and dev teams to create visual experiences that enhance our product's user experience and bring our brand's vision to life.

What you'll do:

Collaborate with our product design team and dev teams to craft delightful illustrations and animations that enhance our product's user experience.

Develop dynamic and interactive visual content for web and mobile platforms using your animation and motion design skills.

Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions for campaigns, product enhancements, and marketing initiatives.

Work closely with design peers and cross-functional teams to build consistency around concepts—and execute them flawlessly.

Clearly articulate and present your concepts to both teammates and stakeholders.

What you'll need:

Exceptional illustration and drawing skills with a strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and movement.

A robust portfolio showcasing your prowess in illustration and animation.

Proficiency in animation and motion design software such as Adobe After Effects, Rive, Blender/Spline, and vector illustration tools like Adobe Illustrator and Figma.

The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback.

An openness to learning while being comfortable with receiving a lot of feedback

Previous experience as an illustrator in a tech company.

Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Excellent communication skills for seamless collaboration with the project team.

A solid understanding of UX/UI principles, contemporary digital landscapes, internet culture, and current design trends.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Comfortable presenting creative ideas and directions, with strong written and oral skills in English.

A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
