IT Infrastructure Team Leader

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of RADAR systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance.

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Team Leader to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure.

This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of systems, and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
Collaborate with other departments to understand and support business needs through effective IT solutions.
Develop and manage IT infrastructure budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to maintain high reliability.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and best practices.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party products and services.
Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation efforts.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their potential value to the organization.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role in an 800+ end-users organization.
Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization (e.g., VMware), and server management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Administration
Expertise in RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware, Zerto, Veeam and Active Directory management.
Familiarity with Backup systems and Methodology (Veeam, Tape Servers)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and ITIL frameworks is a plus.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience with budgeting and vendor management.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Security clearance preferred.
