This position is located at our Upper Galilee site in the Hubayta Complex

About the Role:

We're looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our infrastructure team, supporting internal groups and company clients. You'll work hands-on with Azure services, Kubernetes (AKS), databases, and automation, while contributing to on-call rotation for production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Manage and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including deployments, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Support and maintain databases (administration, performance tuning, backups, troubleshooting)
• Write and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate infrastructure tasks and operational workflows
• Apply AI/ML tools and knowledge to improve automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency (e.g., using AI-assisted tooling, integrating AI services, or supporting AI-related workloads on Azure)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and provide infrastructure/cloud services to internal groups and external clients
• Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring system reliability outside of business hours
• Document processes, configurations, and incident resolutions clearly
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, identity/IAM)
• Practical experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) - deployments, Helm, scaling, networking, troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL - administration, queries, performance basics)
• Working knowledge in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)
• Familiarity with AI tools/platforms (e.g., Azure AI services, LLM integrations, or AI-driven automation)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with experience supporting multiple stakeholders/clients
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call shifts

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
• Monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus)
