About this role

JET Pay is a global payment solution available in 15 markets and is recognized as the leading B2B solution in the food delivery industry. It empowers businesses to provide employees with a flexible budget for ordering meals - inside or outside the office - making it easier to treat staff without needing an onsite canteen.

The Payment Infrastructure team plays a crucial role in managing, maintaining and evolving all live payment processes for the JET Pay product.

We’re looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our team, where you’ll work on scalable and extensible services and integrations. You’ll leverage cutting-edge technologies like Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, .NET 6+, MSSQL, and more to improve our product and infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week from our TLV office & 2 days working from home

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
Build robust and scalable cloud software components and services
Maintain and enhance existing services, ensuring they remain robust and efficient
Optimise large-scale cloud applications to increase speed and size
Initiate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for rapid and stable deployment
Collaborate with team members and a wide range of other stakeholders
Develop server-side infrastructure to assist other developers in the company
Take a flexible, proactive, and KPI-driven approach to your work

What will you bring to the table?
1 year of professional experience with C#
Hands-on experience with .NET technologies (experience with .NET 6+ is an advantage)
A solid understanding of SQL databases
Familiarity with SaaS platforms
Knowledge of Azure or any other cloud-based environment - A plus
A solid understanding of Unit Testing principles and practices
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent military experience - A plus
Experience with Git, Azure Cloud, and work management tools – e.g. Azure DevOps
High level of English proficiency, including excellent communication skills
