Student position for MBBU SW team

The Mobile Broadband Business Unit is a small group in Ceva, built of wireless communication experts. We develop 4GLTE and 5GNR modem and work with key players in the cellular market. The MBBU’s SW team develops code for 4G/5G Modem , Ceva HW Drivers, and Ceva cores, and develops infrastructure environments to verify quality of the team’s product

In this role, you will join the SW group to this huge challenge of implementing different cellular products like a mobile phone modem, GnB modem (Base stations) and more types of Radio and distributed units as described on newest 3GPP standards.

Your work will include:

Developing simulation blocks on different platforms and different simulation languages , like C/C++/SystemC/Python
Implementation and optimization of DSP code for the Physical layer and Protocol stack layer of wireless communication system of LTE and 5G.
Full responsibility for upgrading DSP cores libraries and releasing them to customers for new Ceva platforms
Developing SW drivers for Ceva HW accelerators and integrate them in to the modem chain for implementing the main physical LTE/5G channels such as PDSCH/PUSCH etc.

Requirements:

2nd or 3rd year student for in Electronic Engineering/Physics/computer science from a well-known university (remaining studies of at least 2 full semesters).
Programming experience in C, C++ , Python , Matlab - Advantage
Willing to work for 20-25 hours a week.
