Animation Team Lead

Papaya is one of the world's fastest-growing mobile game companies, providing entertainment for millions of users across multiple apps. The company is headquartered in the heart of Tel Aviv.

We are looking for a talented Animation Team Lead who's excited about working in the gaming industry. If you have proven experience with 2D Animation and are passionate about games, you’ll be perfect for us! You will be part of the Art department and work closely with an Art director and be part of our amazing Art team.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience as an animator.
At least 1-year experience as a team leader
Strong understanding of animation principles and physical motion.
Excellent knowledge of Unity - a must.
Excellent knowledge Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop.
An excellent portfolio demonstrating strong character animation skills, VFX skills, cut-out, and various animation techniques.
The ability to work in a dynamic environment within tight schedules
Knowledge of Spine and 3D animation tools - a big advantage

Responsibilities:

Lead talented in-house animators
Delivering high-level 2D animations
Bring visual concepts to life and create dynamic and appealing animations.
Work together with our talented UI designers, illustrators, and other team members, to produce and create in game animations from mockups to final execution.
Stay up to date on the latest design, trends, and tools within 2D animations and the Unity animator tool.
